Litigation Photocopying
The production team at EDS is a professional staff, trained to handle all types of litigation copying. We use multiple high speed, digital machines that can handle any workload or condition of original documents. All copies are checked page for page against the original to ensure the highest quality.
Since all pricing is determined by the degree of handling required for processing, we feel that an explanation of how we categorize work is necessary.
Auto Feed refers to large rubber-banded sections and/or loose documents. If only one set of copies is to be made, it must be in excellent condition-one sided, same size with no staples, clips, or folder tabs.
Light Litigation indicates large stapled, rubber-banded, and clipped sections (an average of 51 to 100 pages). Also included in this category would be work that is all two-sided.
Medium Litigation indicates primarily stapled and clipped sections (an average of 11 to 50 pages), including copying of file folders and folder tabs. These projects require more handling as well as more organization.
Heavy Litigation indicates heavily stapled and clipped sections (an average of 10 pages or less), such as correspondence files, documents with mixed paper sizes (8.5 x 11 mixed with 8.5 x 14) or copying from "tagged" work.
Glass Work indicates that 50% or more of the documents have to be hand placed on the glass. These are commonly checks, invoices and onionskin documents.
*Supplies such as staples, clips and slipsheets are included in the per page price.
Document Scanning
EDS uses state-of-the-art technology to convert paper files to digital images. We can deliver single or multi-page TIFF images as well as PDF files. We can also include load files for most litigation support software packages and image viewers.
Image Branding (Electronic Endorsing)
The software used by our staff at EDS will brand/endorse all of your electronic files and/or paper copy sets with speed and precision.
Bates Labeling
Our trained production staff at EDS can quickly and accurately number all of your paper documents.
Color Copying & Printing
At EDS, we utilize high speed, digital color equipment to produce outstanding color copies in a timely fashion.
Oversize Copying, Printing & Scanning
The large format equipment that EDS employs, allows us to copy, print and scan all of your oversize documents.
Blowback Printing
EDS offers high speed, high capacity solutions to meet your image to paper needs. The documents can be stapled and/or colored slipsheets or file-path sheets can be inserted at the time of printing to identify document breaks. In addition, the documents can also be branded/endorsed as they are printed.
Optical Character Recognition (OCR)
The software used by EDS allows documents to be accurately OCR’d during the scanning process. The time gained by combining the two services enables us to deliver your project in a timely fashion.
Load File Creation
EDS's software allows us to create and manipulate load files supported by most litigation database software.
